Outdoor Education Competency Based Assessment Camp

Date/Time: Monday 18 November 2024 7:30am - Tuesday 19 November 2024 5:00pm (Students will meet at school to ensure packs equipped appropriately, and then end at school to return all borrowed items.)

Description: Students consolidate their 100hours of learning with an overnight bushwalk in a local bush walking area. (tbc)

Cost: $150.00

Transport: School bus and one car with trailer.

Dress Code: Sensible walking shoes and attire. Sun hat (non-negotiable) Comfortable walking clothes NO: Jeans, or heavy cotton hoodies. Sleeping attire-should be thermals as it can become very cold in the gorge over night.

Food: Only trail snacks are required, preferably with no nuts, and personal water. (with purifying tables )

Please Bring: Provided: Pack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat and tent. Required: Sleeping bag LINER (light), head torch, walking poles (if desired), personal drink bottle, plate cup and knife fork spoon sets, sunscreen, waterproof pack liner or heavy-duty garbage bag, toiletries, personal toilet paper, small note pad & pen, compass (if available).
