PPHS Astronomy Night

Date/Time: Wednesday 6 August 2025 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Description: Astronomers from Mac Uni will come in and give a short (10 Min Max) talk on Astronomy, students will hear the emu in the sky story and the uni will supply an indoor planetarium for groups of students to go through. Students attending can also bring their own telescopes , and we will view the night sky after the initial opening presentation, and a catered 'dinner'. Students will learn how to track celestial objects and take photos.
