Early Leavers Procedure

Organise an Early Leaver’s Pass, students must bring a note from a parent/carer stating:

1. Student’s name and roll class

2. Date and time leave pass is required

3. Reason for departing early

4. Contact phone number

· The note must be signed by a parent/carer.

· The note should be handed into the Student Office before school.

· The student’s diary is stamped by the student office to indicate time of departure.

· The student collects their Early Leaver’s Pass from the student office before they leave the school grounds. In some cases, early departure notes will be withheld until verification by the parent/carer can be established.

We have also had an increased number of students leaving early on Tuesday for appointments. Tuesday sport is a mandatory part of the school curriculum and therefore appointments should wherever possible, be made outside of school hours and not during sport.

Extended Leave Procedure

Parents/Carers are reminded that extended travel/holidays should be organised to occur during school holiday time. If this is unavoidable, parents/carers are required to apply to the Principal in advance for known periods of extended leave that will occur during the school term.

We request for parents/carers to complete the "Application for Extended Leave - Travel" document a minimum 2 weeks prior to going on extended leave and submit to the school office.
