Dear Parents/Carers
The following information pertains to applications for TVET courses next year (Technological and Vocational Education Training) and refers to courses that the Year 11 students of 2020 will be studying off-site at TAFE on specified days each week as part of their senior pattern of study while they are still enrolled at school.
Please be advised that the main TVET TAFE applications for students studying TAFE courses closed on the 30 September 2019. This means that offers at this stage have either been accepted or withdrawn. The last day to accept or withdraw offers was the 6 December 2019.
Late applications for 'left-over' courses (courses where vacancies are still available) are open for consideration from the 9 December 2019 - 31 January 2020 (Friday of the first week back at school Term 1 next year).
During this period, if you need to apply for any 'left-over' courses, an application needs to be completed and returned to the Careers Advisor. The application form can be obtained from the Careers Office in the Library. Please notify the Careers Advisor ASAP if your child intends to withdraw from a TVET course they have already been accepted into due to any exceptional or unavoidable circumstances by the 5 February 2020.
