Duke of Ed - Training Walk (#2)

Date/Time: Tuesday 9 December 2025 1:30pm - 8:30pm (Venue to be finalised closer to the date, weather & conditions of track dependent.)

Description: Students Extend their current walking knowledge to include experiencing coming into camp in the dark. Head torch walk for the last 30 minutes to an hour, arriving back at school before 9.00 pm at night.

Venue: Royal National Park

Dress Code: Comfortable walking clothes, to include sensible walking shoes/boots, long pants/yoga /skins, good socks (not anklet or non-visible), and a raincoat. No heavy cotton items or jeans.

Food: Students to provide 'safe' snacks, preferably self prepared (scroggin) and in single Ziplock bag or fresh fruit, water bottles provided, students can fill bottles at school prior to walk

Please Bring: Pack, contents, and cooking implements provided. Students to bring walking poles if required, any tape for injuries, and their own head torch
